Description

Join SCA and MUFG Union Bank on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH to restore the Audubon Center at Debs Park!

Since the establishment of Global Volunteer Month in 2013, MUFG employees all over the world have been working together on initiatives to host local contribution activities. SCA is proud to be a partner in this endeavor by facilitating opportunities for MUFG employees, family, and friends to engage in team-based service projects in 8 different cities. The projects will focus on some of the most urgent conservation needs in underserved urban communities.

The Audubon Center at Debs Park works to engage local communities with the wildlife of northeast Los Angeles. The site preserves remnants of the original woodland, grassland, and coastal sage scrub that once rimmed the Los Angeles Basin, and over 140 different bird species have been identified at the site. MUFG Union Bank employees will join SCA volunteers in LA to preserve this native habitat for future generations to enjoy.
